Summary: Collection consists of correspondence, reports, and newspaper clippings relative to the efforts of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad Company and the Fred Harvey Company to sponsor a Southwest Indian exhibit at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair (A Century of Progress International Exhibition). Includes plans for the exhibit; estimates of costs of transportation, housing and food; and plans for Indian dances and the sale of Indian arts and crafts. Includes correspondence involving archaeologist Jesse Nusbaum, writer Ernest T. Seton, Herman Schweizer of the Fred Harvey Company, William W. Simpson of the Atchison and Topeka Railroad, and U.S. Commissioner of Indian Affairs, Charles H. Burke.
